About Danielle Da Silva

Danielle Da Silva is an internationally acclaimed and award-winning photographer and director/filmmaker of Central/South Asian/European ancestry. She is Founder and CEO of Photographers Without Borders and is Co-Founder of the Sumatran Wildlife Sanctuary. Most recently, she was awarded one of the first ever Sony Alpha Female Creators-in-Residence. Danielle was named Top 30 Under 30 Sustainability Leaders in Canada, Top 17 Female Photographers in the World of 2017 (#2) by Matador Network, Top 5 Women Changing Media, and has recorded two TEDx talks. She is a land and water protector, humanitarian, coach/mentor, writer, and speaker. Danielle is most passionate about using storytelling to connect people to the earth and to all the relatives we share life with.
