Cult filmmaker Kalman Szegvary, director of the cult hit film, Cannibal Rollerbabes, will screen clips from his films, discuss story writing aspects specific to lower budget film productions, tips on how to put the money on the screen, casting, editing and digital distribution aspects, as well as host a Q & A afterward. This will be a great indie filmmaking primer for those that are looking to make their first cult movie, as well as for those that may be consider enrolling in a good film-school program.
Camera movement is an incredibly effective way to visually narrate and enhance your story. Making motivated choices in motion can truly shape an audience’s perception of what they are experiencing. Using examples from her own work, Christina Ienna will discuss how to use movement to emote deeper meaning and create more dynamic scenes.
