PWB Founder, National Geographic Explorer and Sony ambassador Danielle Khan Da Silva will be in conversation with notable members of the Photographers Without Borders team on the topic of “Making an Impact with Imagery.” What kind of stories stand out? What kind of impact do you want to make? What tools do you need? How do you stand out? We’ll discuss all of this while looking at some stunning creations from our PWB community.
About Danielle Khan Da Silva
Dani (she/her) is a South-Asian/Portuguese settler residing on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabe, Métis, Mohawk and other nations in northern Ontario, Canada where she enjoys life in the forest. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Photographers Without Borders, a non-profit organization that supports grassroots community initiatives with storytelling media. Dani is also an award-winning documentary photographer/director/storyteller who is a Sony ambassador. She has an academic and practical background in conservation and international development and holds an MSc. in Sustainable Development from the London School of Economics. She is a captivating speaker, educator, and mentor to many.
