- 10:00 a.m. – The Art of Composition, tales from a crop-acholic
Join Jillian from Tamron as she goes beyond a basic composition conversation. There is more than one way to elevate your subject in a photograph. By utilizing subject placement, leading lines, and other visual clues we will explore: Tension vs Resolution, Balance vs Asymmetry. Jillian will then use image diagraming to demonstrate how to put these ideas into practice. Jillian has a knack for cropping creatively based on the printed proportions, but what size will your photograph be? She is joined by Kevin from Hahnemühle who will show you how paper choice can complement and put the finishing touches on your image.
