    All Sessions by Vitor Munhoz

    • Day 1 – Nov 11th (Times in EST)

    • 16:00  - 17:00
What happens when your camera can sync flash at any shutter speed? In this talk-and-demo session, Vitor Munhoz pairs the Sony A9 III's global shutter with Profoto lighting to freeze athletes in motion, overpower ambient light, and create images that weren't possible a few years ago. Vitor explains the technology in plain terms, shares examples from his sports and commercial work, then shoots live so you can see exactly how he builds each setup.

From Brazil to the Bell Centre and beyond, Vitor Munhoz has built a career on being ready when it counts. This talk traces that journey through the images, setups, and Profoto tools that defined each chapter, including seven seasons as team photographer for the Montreal Canadiens. From rink-side portraits and locker-room setups to the commercial and sports work he creates today, Vitor shares how Profoto became central to his process, and why the right light matters most when there's no second take.
